Leicestershire

£30-45k

The Company

Our client is a well-established creative agency with retail design at their core. For over two decades they've been working with some of the world's most exciting brands, bringing physical spaces to life through clever, considered design. From concept to construction, their studio handles it all — brand environments, fixtures, displays and large-scale rollouts spanning boutique retail to global flagships. With a talented team of designers, project managers and technical specialists all under one roof, they move fast, think creatively and genuinely love what they do. They're growing, and they're looking for the right person to grow with them.

The Role

This is a hands-on technical design role sitting within a team of seven designers, where you'll be turning creative concepts into fully engineered, production-ready solutions. Day to day you'll be developing retail environments, fixtures and displays — working across multiple brands and projects, producing technical drawings and full drawing packs, and collaborating closely with design and project teams to make sure every detail is right. You'll use SolidWorks to bring ideas to life, support senior designers on larger commissions, assist with materials and manufacturing specs, and get out on site for surveys and installs. The breadth of work you'll get exposure to here is genuinely hard to match.

About You

You're a designer who loves the technical side of things — someone who gets real satisfaction from solving a construction challenge or seeing a complex build come together exactly as drawn. You'll have solid SolidWorks experience, a good grasp of materials and manufacturing methods, and ideally a background in product, event or interior design. You're organised, detail-oriented and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once, and you communicate well with the people around you. A full UK driving licence is handy too, as some site work comes with the territory. Most importantly, you're someone who's eager to keep developing — because this is a place where there's real room to grow.
