The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to play a key role in delivering high-quality retail fit-out and deployment projects for prestigious clients. As a critical tactical partner, you will lead every phase of the project lifecycle—from conception through to close-out—ensuring that each project meets or exceeds expectations in quality, timing, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure complete client satisfaction and build strong long-term relationships with clients and delivery partners.
- Manage and communicate project details, timelines, budgets, and milestones clearly with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate the entire project lifecycle—from briefing and planning through delivery, installation, and final sign-off.
- Assign roles and oversee execution of work by third parties, including architects, contractors, and technical specialists.
- Prepare and maintain reports, including schedules, dashboards, site audits, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and H&S best practices.
- Oversee on-site activities and contractors at key stages of delivery.
- Track and manage budgets, control variations, and ensure approvals are obtained.
- Proactively troubleshoot and motivate teams to exceed expectations.
Person Specification
We are seeking a hands-on, proactive, and highly organised Project Manager with solid experience in delivering retail interior fit-out projects, preferably with high-end brands.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Minimum 5 years' project management experience in retail fit-outs or construction.
- Skilled in managing complex projects involving permitting, structural work, and multiple stakeholder approvals.
- Strong understanding of architectural, MEP, and construction drawings.
- Experience leading end-to-end project delivery in an agency, GC, or client-side capacity.
- Confident communicator able to liaise with all levels—from clients and contractors to internal teams.
- Skilled in managing scope, budget, programme, risk, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- International project delivery experience and cultural awareness are highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel globally as required.
Software Skills:
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Teams.
- Mac literate.
- Proficient in OmniPlan or MS Project.
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with BIM Collab for markup and task tracking.
Languages:
Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential; additional languages are an advantage.
