Our client is a leading supplier of retail merchandising systems. Due to continued expansion and exciting growth plans they are looking for a Project Manager with experience of working in a fast-paced retail environment to join their team. This is a key position with the overall objective for delivering operational and service excellence to their clients. You will be responsible and accountable for developing and executing all aspects of the project from start to finish in a co-ordinated manner to ensure that margin expectations are maintained and customer requirements are managed.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Communicate with Account Manager to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of company solutions according to customer needs and objectives – delivery on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Co-ordinate internal resources and installation teams.
- Manage, maintain and update all project documents in the customer shared folder highlighting change and revision control.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, with technical feasibility of projects is understood and shared.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.
- Report and escalate to management as needed any changes to the project scope.
- Ensure the account forecast is updated and track key account metrics throughout the duration of the project.
- Liaise between the customer and internal teams to track progress and delivery timelines in conjunction with project execution plan.
- Actively involved and supervising internal projects changes, prototyping and development.
- Actively participating in site scoping meetings with client across their entire estate (UK, IRE, & EU).
- On site presence throughout the duration of the project and to be initiative-taking in identifying any potential problems or issues which can be highlighted on site and implement counter measures.
- Conducting thorough site surveys and sharing report with installation team.
- Overseeing comprehensive site management from inception to fruition.
- Leading the pre-construction phase, co-ordinating consultants and suppliers seamlessly.
- Meticulously compiling site safety files, CPHSPs, and RAMs and leasing with PD.
- Conducting routine site visits to ensure project alignment with program.
- Ensuring that safe working practices are met and in line with all legislative requirements
EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
- Driven, energetic and professionally ambitious.

- Proven track record and experience in project management in fast paced retail environment (minimum 5 years).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time whilst paying strict attention to detail.
- Commercial knowledge and understanding of all profit drivers of a project.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of drawings / blueprints.
- Experience of working in MRP / ERP systems.
- Ability to generate precise store layout breakdowns.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Ability to prioritise among completing tasks.
- Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent listening, negotiating and presentation skills.
