Installation Manager – Retail Display / Point of Sale
Our client, a long-established designer and manufacturer of leading retail display products, is looking to recruit a dedicated Installation Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee installations that drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide external installation teams, ensuring projects meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Conduct site surveys, gather critical data, and communicate findings with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement specification changes and optimise installation processes.
- Lead by example during installations, including hands-on activities, remedial work, and conducting solo or team-based operations.
- Manage varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays if necessary.
- Travel within the UK and internationally, maintaining valid travel documentation.
- Maintain clear and timely communication during all phases of installation, including snagging reports and post-installation documentation.
- Ensure thorough preparation, including technical drawings, tools, equipment, travel plans, and stakeholder engagement.
- Assist with quality inspections and factory or assembly work as required.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in installation supervision, ideally within the Retail Display / Point of Sale sector.
- Strong management and organisational skills with a solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with internal teams and clients.
- Knowledge of technical drawings and understanding of project timelines.
- Flexible, reliable, and committed with a positive, proactive attitude.
