About the Role
This pivotal position involves leading business development initiatives within the retail sector, with a specific focus on merchandise display systems, shopfittings, wall systems, gondolas, and related retail consumables. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding client relations and strategic positioning in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business opportunities within the retail equipment sector, specialising in hangers, counters, shelf edges, ticketing, carrier bags, and wall systems.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients in the retail industry, ensuring their needs are met with suitable merchandising solutions.
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver innovative display and shopfitting solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in business development management within retail equipment or related sectors.
- Background in merchandising systems or retail consumables is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of retail display solutions such as gondolas, shopfittings, wall systems, and ticketing solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strategic approach to growth and relationship management.
