Our client, a leading global Retail Point of Sale (POS) company, is seeking a Customer Project Manager (PM) to join their team. Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer projects within the UK, ensuring that projects proceed within the specified time frame and established budget, whilst achieving its objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the management of account(s) including customer communication.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing key account customers and suppliers.
- Convert Project Description details into a project plan - responsible for driving and following up project progress (milestones and deliverables).
- Delivering Project results.
- Risk handling for the project.
- Issue / conflict handling during the project with appropriate escalation.
- Leading the Project Team; in accordance with budget, time and scope.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communications.
- Plan and execute project meetings.
- Keep Business updated on all on all on-going projects.
- Responsible for the on-going project including invoicing and taking care of claims.
- Manage all practical aspects of the test / actual installations, planning how, when and where.
- Obtain customer satisfaction responses.
- Create and disseminate final Project Closure report.
Professional background:
- Experience from customer service / client-facing role.
- Experience as project leader is an advantage.
- Experience of New Product Introduction within a Manufacturing / Engineering Business is an advantage.
Educational background:
• Formal Project Management training desirable (PMP / Prince 2).
Language & IT:
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Goods skills in MS Office tools.
