The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth agenda. You'll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through both proactive outreach and warm inbound leads, while also developing existing client relationships to maximize account value. This role requires you to research new markets and trends, negotiate contracts, manage the sales process through their Sage system, and work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. You'll create account plans, forecast sales metrics, conduct project reviews with stakeholders, and be the key point of contact for client relationships from initial contact through to completion.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated sales professional with proven experience in the design and development of creative manufactured solutions, particularly within the POS and display furniture sector. You'll possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence effectively at all levels. A natural relationship builder, you'll thrive in a results-driven environment and demonstrate strong project management capabilities, managing multiple clients simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Experience with Sage and Microsoft Office applications is essential, along with critical thinking abilities and a genuine hunger to generate, chase, and close new business.
