Artworker Opportunity
We have an exciting career opportunity for a skilled Artworker within a leading Point of Purchase (POP) company located in Leicestershire. Our client, a reputable and dynamic organisation, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team on a permanent basis.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and adapting accurate, production-ready artwork files for point-of-sale and retail display initiatives. This involves translating creative briefs, brand guidelines, and technical drawings into high-quality, print-ready digital files, ensuring strict adherence to technical and brand standards before production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and amend artwork for point-of-sale and retail display units in accordance with briefs.
- Ensure compliance with client brand guidelines, including typography, colours, imagery, and logos.
- Apply technical specifications such as cutter guides, bleeds, and print margins accurately.
- Retouch, resize, and optimise images whilst maintaining resolution and quality.
- Perform pre-press checks, prepare proofs for approval, and manage file outputs.
- Review cutter guides and technical drawings to confirm alignment with design intent.
- Identify and escalate potential production issues early in the workflow.
- Manage multiple artwork jobs, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Collaborate with Client Services, Design, Planning, and Production teams to resolve technical queries.
- Support production with artwork questions and amendments, ensuring smooth delivery.
- Maintain and share technical knowledge to uphold standards and foster team development.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in an artwork or pre-press role within print, POP, or retail display production.
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Strong understanding of print production principles, including colour management, resolution, and file preparation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and raise technical queries confidently.
- Experience with large-format digital printing and technical drawings is desirable.
